We’ve found there are only two necessities in life: a good dog and a great glass of whatever makes you happy.

Founded in 2014, Vines Wine Bar & Spirits Shop is here to spread that philosophy to the world! As the original dog-friendly wine bar in Louisville, we offer bar service, a retail shop, and various events throughout the year.

But we’re more than that. We are also a welcoming gathering space that believes in good drinks + good company.

Offering wine, spirits, local beers, and alcohol-free drinks it’s easy to come in for a bottle and stay for a glass.

  • Come on in and enjoy a glass! Purchase by the glass or by the bottle. Wine not your style? We have plenty of other great options, from bourbon to beer to cocktails — of both the alcohol and NA variety. No matter your taste, we’ll find you something to savor.

  • Come shop our curated selection of wine, spirits, and NA drinks. Not sure what you’re looking for? Our staff is here to help! With their years of experience, you’ll be sure to leave with exactly what you’ve been searching for.

  • Looking for a place to host your next event? Vines has you covered. We can host anything from birthdays, showers, book clubs, and more. You can even bring in whatever food you and your guests would like. For more details and availability, please reach out to Rob Lersch at the shop.

  • Feel overwhelmed in a big box store? Our wine selection is curated by Rob Lersch to provide the best tasting wines for the perfect price. He tastes them all! Our prices are competitive with other stores and we are always here to help you with your selection. Looking for something special? Looking for something not on the shelf? We can order it for you! Anything distributed in Kentucky we can find, and for a great 10% discount on cases. Please reach out to Rob for any special order you need! As always we are Highlands locally owned and operated.
